Making waves, Maintaining integrity

Hello all,

From the outset we at Fly Cardiff have maintained an integrity to assist the airport in its aims to attract business and we are especially proud to have not gone down the road of attacking the airport's management.

This remains the case, however we seem to have attracted ourselves some negative commentary from so called 'industry experts' who cannot see why we felt the need to set up the campaign and who say we are having an adverse effect on the airport, but honestly could it have gotten any worse?

I feel sorry for the few individuals who feel it is right to try and attack our efforts mainly to try and elevate their own needs. We have also been dubbed amateurs which to some extent is true as we run this in conjuntion with our day jobs - a factor that some cannot understand when we have to turn down meetings as we don't have time to attend them and really if they are so expert where are their airlines? Where is their business? It does not exist, hence our existence.

. Anyone can meet with the airport, anyone can own an iPhone and call themselves professional but really as with any form of diatribe, it is a few who cannot fulfil their own agendas and who think an attempt to belittle our humble team is the answer - it isn't. We remain committed and thank all of you who have taken time on Facebook, on Twitter and on the petition to rightfully express your views, concerns, hopes and fears of our only national airport. Onwards... Fly Cardiff team
